Key Qualifications And Skills
Certification as an SLP with CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) or as an SLPA
Experience working with pediatric populations, particularly within school or healthcare settings
Familiarity with school-based speech-language pathology services across high school grades (9th-12th)
Willingness to work collaboratively with educational teams to support student communication needs
Ability to manage a diverse caseload effectively
Completion of CFY is acceptable for entry
Primary Responsibilities
Conduct speech and language assessments and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
Implement therapeutic interventions to improve speech, language, and communication skills in high school students
Monitor progress and adjust therapy approaches accordingly
Document all services and maintain compliance with state and federal regulations
Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and other staff to enhance student outcomes
Participate in meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
Location: Jupiter, Florida (within a high school setting)
