Are you interested in providing critical intervention to families in crisis? If so, Devereux might have the right opportunity for you! We are looking to hire a passionate individual to join our team as a Mobile Crisis Services Clinician.
Responsibilities
Provide on‑site crisis intervention counseling with an assessment of families’ needs in Volusia, Flagler, and Putnam counties.
Conduct skills training to help clients and families overcome crisis challenges and perform ongoing need assessment.
Collaborate with community service providers to establish needed services for individuals and families.
Provide education to families and significant others about mental illness and support strategies.
Offer in‑home and therapeutic services, documenting interventions promptly in client records.
Coordinate with team members to ensure service integration and appropriate discharge planning.
Qualifications
Master’s degree in counseling, social work, psychology, rehabilitation, special education, or a related human services field.
Minimum two years of direct experience working with children and families, preferably with children who are victims of abuse or adjudicated as delinquent.
Licensed as a Clinical Social Worker, Mental Health Counselor, or Marriage and Family Therapist in the State of Florida is preferred.
Bilingual (English–Spanish) is preferred.
Position Details Salary: Starts at $50,000 – $57,000 per year (based on experience).
