Overview

Behavioral Health Therapist position at ND Health and Human Services (Lake Region Human Service Center, Devils Lake, ND). The role supports an interdisciplinary team, providing assessments, service planning, therapy (individual, family, and/or group), crisis intervention, and education to families and the community. Travel to client locations is required as services are provided in homes and communities. Responsibilities

Complete assessments and service plans for clients. Organize, direct, and guide care provided by other team members; monitor and update service recommendations. Provide skills training and individual, family, and/or group therapy. Provide crisis intervention and risk assessments in the office and community; participate in on-call duties if needed. Offer education and consultation to families, community members, interns, and residents. Qualifications

Master’s degree in social work, Counseling, or related fields and ND licensure as a LCSW or LPCC, or Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy with licensure as LMFT by the ND Board of Marriage and Family Therapy, or Master’s degree in social work, Counseling, or Psychology with eligibility for LMFT licensure by the ND Board of Marriage and Family Therapy, or Doctorate in Psychology with ND licensure as a psychologist by the ND Board of Psychologist Examiners. Alternative track: Master’s degree in social work with LMSW licensure or master’s degree in counseling with LPC licensure (for Human Relations Counselor role at reduced rate); within two years of LPCC licensure, with licensure details and training hours submitted with the application. Valid driver’s license and successful completion of the defensive driving course during new-hire orientation. Location & Work Model

Location: ND HHS Lake Region Human Service Center, Devils Lake, ND. This position operates in a blended workplace model with on-site client services and travel to client locations. Compensation & Benefits

Sign-on bonus up to $15,000 and/or moving expense up to $5,000 may be available. Total rewards and a competitive benefits package are offered. Application Procedures
