We are currently hiring a PRN licensed Physical Therapist (PT) to provide exceptional care at our skilled nursing facility in Spokane, WA. This role supports residents with a variety of medical conditions through assessment, treatment, program planning, documentation, and collaboration with physicians.

Position Description
Promotes and maintains health by providing physical therapy services under the supervision of the therapy director.
Contributes to a physical therapist’s effectiveness by identifying patient care issues.
Administers treatment programs for patients.
Assesses patient health by interviewing patients, performing physical examinations, and studying therapy histories.
Coaches patients and teaches them therapeutic exercises and stretches to improve their condition.
Documents patient care services by charting in patient and department records.
Performs therapeutic procedures such as manual exercises, encouraging patients in functional activities, and daily‑living activities.
Helps patients use supportive devices, such as crutches, canes, and prostheses.
Instructs and counsels patients with therapeutic regimens, growth and development information, and promotes wellness and health maintenance.
Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, regulations, and infection‑control policies.
Maintains production objectives by monitoring actual physical therapy services rendered.
Maintains legal and accreditation compliance with federal, state, local regulations and JACHO standards.
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading periodicals, and professional organizations.
Enhances the physical therapy reputation by accepting ownership of new requests and exploring opportunities to add value.
Physical Therapist Qualifications / Skills
Compassion and empathy for patients who are often in pain.
Attention to detail regarding a patient’s issues to analyze needs.
Physical stamina to lift patients and spend long hours standing.
Interpersonal skills to build positive relationships and motivate patients.
Communication skills for clear interaction with doctors, families, and patients.
Education and Experience Requirements
Graduated from an accredited Physical Therapy college or university.
Valid Physical Therapy license for state practice.
Proficient in EMR documentation (PCC familiar preferred, not required).
CPR Certification.
Seniority level: Entry level
