Mental Health Therapist - LCSW, LPC, LMFT - Hybrid Blackbird Health is transforming how pediatric mental health is assessed and treated to make world-class care available in local communities. Our approach reveals the full story behind each child’s challenges, addressing symptoms and underlying causes to achieve meaningful, lasting outcomes. We currently provide virtual and in-person mental health services, including comprehensive evaluations, medication management, and therapy, across Pennsylvania and Virginia with plans to expand to new markets in 2025. Passion for our mission to redefine behavioral health for children and their families Experience providing direct psychotherapy services to children and/or adolescents is desired Outstanding communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with patients, provider partners, and colleagues Open to professional and clinical feedback and interested in working in a supporting and collegial clinical environment Appreciate the value of operating in a collaborative and cooperative environment Ability to show initiative, good judgment, and resourcefulness How you’ll make an impact

Provide evidence-based psychotherapy services by meeting with patients regularly to provide counseling, individualized treatment, and adjust treatment plans as necessary Evaluate new clients through biopsychosocial/diagnostic assessments Invest in patient relationships by establishing positive, trusting rapport Provide availability during Blackbird’s core after-school hours to accommodate school schedules Collaborate with other specialty providers (e.g., CRNPs, EF Coaches, Speech therapists) to establish an Integrated Treatment Plan Comply with minimum clinical time expectations per week after onboarding and acclimation Conduct ongoing assessments of patient progress and maintain thorough records of meetings and progress Involve and advise family members or outside specialists when appropriate The basics you’ll need

Flexibility to work a minimum of 15 hours per week during peak after-school hours (after 4pm ET) or on weekends Active licensure in Pennsylvania as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required Why Blackbird is unique
