Instructor Operator Paramedic

Phoenix Defense, LLC. This position is located overseas in Vilseck, Bavaria, Germany. Key Responsibilities Serve as a medical educator for the Medical Simulation Training Center (MSTC), including instruction in EMT, Tactical Casualty Combat Care (TC3), medical evacuation, force protection, CBRNE, and primary care. Assist with planning and conducting field training exercises (FTX) using special effects equipment to create realistic combat scenarios. Operate and maintain Human Patient Simulators (HPS) and partial task trainers, including scenario building and moulage. Develop and revise simulation exercises, assess student critical thinking and psychomotor skills, and determine qualification status for certifications and licensures. Review lesson plans, analyze student feedback and test results, and monitor course progress. Contribute to the design and development of technical training programs and curricula, both on-site and online. Teach short technical courses, incorporate new curriculum, and develop innovative teaching techniques and scenarios. Conduct test analysis and revise test items as needed. Minimum Requirements Bachelor's degree plus 3 years of recent specialized experience, OR Associate’s degree plus 7 years of recent specialized experience, OR Major certification plus 7 years of recent specialized experience, OR 11 years of recent specialized experience. Desired Skills and Qualifications Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) National Registry Number on resume. Maintain NREMT EMT certification and Paramedic certification. At least 2 years of instructor experience within the past 5 years and 4 years as a healthcare provider within the past 8 years. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) provider certification from AHA, Red Cross, or ASHI. Instructor certification as required by MSTC site. Willingness to travel and ability to obtain/maintain an active US security clearance. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Professional Skills Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in MS Office applications. Strong organizational, analytical, and time management skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, maintaining confidentiality and pursuing ongoing learning.
