Department Summary The College of Health and Public Service (HPS) at the University of North Texas prepares graduates to address complex social issues such as aging, disability, disaster management and recovery, criminal justice, health disparities, and public safety. We have seven academic departments with undergraduate and graduate programs, the Center for Public Management, the UNT Speech and Hearing Center, and a number of professional development and clinical training programs. HPS students are trained to lead nonprofits, become educators, researchers, and professionals who strengthen the communities we serve. Located within HPS, the Department of Audiology & Speech-Language Pathology (ASLP) provides graduate professional education in both speech-language pathology and audiology while maintaining an excellent undergraduate degree. The program stresses excellence in teaching, research, and service by its faculty and students. Position Overview The Department of Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology (ASLP) is actively recruiting qualified individuals for its Adjunct Instructor pool for Fall 2025, Spring 2026, and Summer 2026 terms. We welcome applications at any time for teaching opportunities in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology. Specific course assignments will vary based on departmental needs. Minimum Qualifications Au.D. or Ph.D. in Audiology or a related field, or a master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field. Preferred Qualifications University teaching experience.
