Physical Therapist - Part Time (Healthcare)
Rehab Centre of Beverly Hills is seeking a passionate Physical Therapist with a focus on wound care to provide specialized treatment to our eligible residents. Compensation:
$55-$80 per hour, depending on experience and availability. Flexible schedule preferred (mornings), provided reliability and consistency are maintained. This role involves treating select qualified patients with low-frequency, non-contact, non-thermal ultrasound therapy. Typical treatment sessions last 3-8 minutes, with an additional 5-10 minutes for setup and dressing changes, totaling approximately 10-20 minutes per encounter. Full training, including hands-on and documentation review, will be provided. The position is primarily at our Beverly Hills facility, with potential duties at our Santa Monica location if desired. Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants in patient care, following state practice act. Communicate with supervisors and healthcare team members regarding patient progress and plans. Document evaluations, treatment notes, progress reports, and recertifications in compliance with PT Board State Practice Act and third-party requirements. Participate in discharge planning and recommend necessary durable medical equipment to promote patient independence. Maintain positive and professional relationships with patients, families, staff, and colleagues. Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy; Master's or Doctorate preferred. Proficiency in computer skills, including data entry in Casamba and PointClickCare.
