NDT CR/DR Film Level II Radiographer – Heath, OH – Sign on Bonus and Relocation Assistance
MISTRAS Group, Inc. is seeking TEMP & FULL‑TIME CR/DR Level II Radiographers for our Heath, OH lab. Sign on bonus and relocation assistance available.
Minimum Qualifications
High School graduate or equivalent.
Graduate of a specialized NDT technical program meeting SNT‑TC1A for one or all of the following: UT, RT, MT, or PT.
Prior certification as an NDE Level II with one (1) year experience or prior certification as an NDE Level I technician with adequate field experience hours to certify to Level II per SNT‑TC1A standards on all or one (1) of the following: UT, RT, MT, or PT.
Industrial Radiographers Certification Card preferred (required for all hired as a Radiographer).
Completion of a forty (40) hour Radiation Safety Course preferred (required for all hired as a Radiographer).
Demonstrated competencies: Problem Solving, Oral Communication, Written Communication, Interpersonal Skills, Planning/Organization, Adaptability, Dependability, Quality, Safety.
Major Responsibilities
Set up and calibrate equipment.
Conduct tests with appropriate NDT technique(s).
Interpret, evaluate, and document results.
Fully familiar with scope and limitations of the method and capable of directing Level I personnel.
Familiar with codes, standards, and contractual documents governing the method.
Work with minimal supervision.
Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
Obtain and analyze information skillfully.
Edit and present numerical data effectively.
Working Conditions
Field duties require outdoor work in a plant atmosphere.
Interaction with other crew employees, supervisors, and clients.
Work in plant or shop areas with extreme noise levels.
Physically fit; able to carry 50 lbs frequently.
Must wear safety equipment as required.
May be required at more than one job site per day; tolerate climate changes.
Periodic travel out of town may be required.
Essential Physical Functions
Ability to frequently lift and carry 50 pounds.
Clear speech and hearing; sufficient vision or observation powers.
Sufficient manual dexterity for routine office duties.
Personal mobility to maneuver within refinery or plant environment, including access to elevated platforms via ladders and stairwells.
