We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate
Licensed Masters Social Worker (LMSW)
to join our team. As an LMSW you can work a flexible schedule that meets your needs and make a difference in the lives of our children and families. This role supports pediatric therapy services across various settings. Responsibilities
Provide ongoing special instruction and/or ABA services to children (ages birth-3) in their most natural environment. Educate families and caregivers on applicable intervention strategies to facilitate active involvement and carry-over. Work in diverse settings such as client homes, daycare homes/centers, preschools, clinics, and other community settings. Follow the unique therapy plan established for a family/child, plan for ongoing treatment and address identified goals while documenting progress. Prepare progress reports as indicated. Maintain child records and confidentiality of information regarding children and families (in accordance with HIPAA, state and federal regulations). Required records must be submitted within the established timelines. Requirements
Passion for working with children and families. Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) in the State of New York. 1-2 years of experience working with children (birth-5) is preferred but not necessary. Self-motivated and a team player who exercises patience and professionalism. Fluency in a language other than English is a plus. Physical requirements
Must be able to travel to and from assigned cases, including driving a personal vehicle, walking, and/or use of public transportation. Ability to ascend/descend staircases and lift 10 pounds regularly. Ability to sit on the floor, kneel, and/or crawl for extended periods. Benefits
