Overview
Machining Process Engineer will provide support to manufacturing and maintenance in troubleshooting production issues, as well as investigate new methods and technology to improve efficiency and reduce operating cost. The ideal candidate will also be responsible for new product launch, capital investments, as well as line improvement projects. Responsibilities
Root cause analysis of production issues related to CNC Machining and coordinating countermeasure activity. Develop and execute plans for tooling improvements to reduce cost and / or improve quality. Root cause analysis into customer quality concerns and implementing corrective countermeasures. Draft and maintain documentation required to control production of a product. Investigation into new methods and technology to improve efficiency and reduce operating cost. New equipment project management, including specification development, installation and training. Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering preferred Previous Engineering experience within a machining & automation environment. Ability to read and edit CNC programs. Macro programming is a plus. Ability to understand mechanical drawings. Ability to successfully manage several tasks or projects at once. Experience with Solidworks and / or AutoCAD LT. Strong MS Office Skills; Excel, Word, Access, Outlook, Project and TEAMS. Strong leadership and organizational skills Excellent communication skills Excellent problem-solving ability
