Child and Family Mental Health Provider - PATH Clinic Are you interested in becoming a part of an exciting new initiative at Children's Mercy? We are looking for Mental Health Providers to join our PATH (Pediatric Access to Therapy and Healing) Team. PATH Providers will be trained and provide short-term outpatient therapy for patients who present with acuity needs, with training to be provided upon hire. PATH Providers will work in the emergency department alongside our mental health assessment team to provide seamless care coordination. This position will be located at Broadway Campus in KCMO, and hours are Monday-Friday 10:00am - 6:30pm. The
Child and Family Mental Health Provider
is a Master\'s level Clinician or Social Worker who will provide evidence-based therapy services to children and families at Children\'s Mercy. Our mental health services are provided for a broad range of patients, including children in mental health crisis, parents struggling with behavioral problems, children and families who have been impacted by trauma and children who are at risk for abuse and neglect. Bilingual preferred. Responsibilities
Child and Family Therapy Service Provision and Documentation: Provide evidence based mental health treatments to patients and families within the assigned clinical area.
Case Management and Collaboration: Maintain ongoing communication with internal and external stakeholders to ensure strong partnerships, including with referral sources, service providers and care team members, and assist families with accessing community services and transitioning to other treatment providers when needed.
Professional Development: Demonstrate active involvement and leadership within the team by attending meetings, pursuing educational opportunities, serving as a consultant for department and hospital, participating on committees, and responding to requests for educational programs.
Qualifications
Master\'s Degree
1-2 years experience (applicants considered for related roles)
LCSW MO Licensed Clinical Social Worker (MO license required upon hire). If hired in Missouri, must have LMSW/LCSW or LPC upon hire and obtain Kansas license within 90 days.
LPC MO Licensed Professional Counselor (MO license required upon hire). If hired in Missouri, must have LMSW/LCSW or LPC upon hire and obtain Kansas LCPC license within 90 days.
Bilingual ability preferred.

Starting pay: the pay range begins at $31.15/hr, with final offer based on education and experience.
