Behavioral Health Specialist (LBA, BCaBA, BCBA)
Behavioral Health Specialist (LBA, BCACA, BCBA) Role and Responsibilities
Attends morning meeting and all other clinical meetings as assigned by supervisor
Provide ongoing support for clients in a residential setting
Conduct functional behavior assessments, skills assessments, and data analysis
Develop treatment plans (including behavioral intervention and skill‑acquisition plans)
Develop treatment plans based on the core components of Applied Behavior Analysis, using only evidence‑based methodologies individualized to each client and based on raw data
Implement data collections, review, and modify treatment according to data
Document progress and update treatment plans
Manage caseload and prepare and submit all required documentation according to the deadlines set forth by Eisenhower Center and/or the Clinical Director. This includes assessments, treatment plans, BSPs, insurance updates as required, session notes after every session, analysis of the data and updating the treatment plans as needed
Oversee assessments, plan development, and ongoing program data analysis to ensure maximum efficacy and client progress
Provide supervision of Registered Behavior Technicians and Behavior Technicians assigned to clients on caseload
Attend staff and team meetings
Develop and conduct staff trainings, as assigned
Collaborate with the multi-disciplinary, residential management, health education and leadership teams
Remain current on new research and developments in behavior analysis through continuing education as required by LARA and the BACB
Demonstrate adherence to practice acts and codes of ethical professional conduct in all spheres of Applied Behavior Analytic practice
Maintain active BCBA, BCABA or LBA status
Member in good standing of the BACB and LARA
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Masters or Doctoral degree in Applied Behavior Analysis
Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification or BCABA or LBA
Experience developing, writing, implementing, and evaluating Behavior Analysis plans
Experience training staff in behavior analytic principles and procedures
Critical thinking, problem solving, and strong computer skills
