Location: Salem, MA 01970 (Massachusetts ICU nursing jobs) Facility: Level III Trauma Center, 20-bed Medical/Surgical ICU Assignment Length: 13-week travel nurse contract (Start: 10/19/2025 – End: 1/17/2026) Hours per Week: 36 Shifts: Rotating Days/Evenings/Nights & Every Other Weekend (12-hour shifts) Floating: Required to Medical/Surgical units as needed Estimated Weekly Salary: $1,880 - $2,020 ICU RN Qualifications
Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications Minimum 3 years of general ICU nursing experience At least 2 years of continuous MICU (Medical Intensive Care Unit) experience in one location Telemetry competency—must be able to read and interpret tele strips Proven experience caring for high acuity patients (substance abuse/overdose, severe psychiatric conditions, DKA, sepsis, GI bleed, respiratory failure, cardiac arrest, renal failure, cardiogenic shock) EPIC EMR experience preferred ICU Nurse Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality, compassionate nursing care to critically ill adult patients in a fast-paced ICU environment Float to Medical/Surgical units as needed, managing up to 4-5 patients Monitor and interpret telemetry strips for accurate patient assessment Collaborate with attending physicians and residents available 24/7 Maintain precise documentation using EPIC EMR system Comply with all hospital policies, infection control, and safety standards Participate in rotating shifts, including days, evenings, nights, and every other weekend Apply & Benefits
