Overview
Full-Time; 40 hours/week
Hours: Monday - Friday: 7:30am-4:30pm
Location: Glen Ellyn
Travel: Travel to other clinics for coverage as needed

Responsibilities
Serve as a liaison between orthopedic physicians, community, educational, and recreational systems to support athletes.
Collaborate with medical professionals, coaches, and athletes to ensure readiness, proper nutrition, and treatment of injuries.
Attend sporting events to evaluate athletes, develop dietary and fitness plans, and diagnose/treat injuries.
Stay current with innovative treatment methods.
Participate in quality assurance, utilization review, outcome, and safety committees.
Provide quality patient care, schedule appointments, prepare charts, respond to patient inquiries, document records, and educate patients.
Assist with examinations, procedures, and treatments, recognize emergencies, and coordinate care with other providers.
Maintain examination and procedure rooms, ensuring cleanliness and equipment functionality.
Qualifications
Licensed Athletic Trainer in Illinois
Certified Athletic Trainer through NATA
BLS certification
Bachelor's degree in athletic training; Master's preferred
2+ years of athletic training experience preferred
Experience with electronic medical records and orthopedic settings preferred
