Responsibilities
Assist in implementation of treatment plans developed by licensed PTs to help patients regain movement, alleviate pain, and restore function.
Lead patients through prescribed exercises and therapeutic activities, ensuring proper technique and progress.
Apply treatment modalities, monitor responses, and adjust parameters as needed.
Educate patients and families on injury prevention, body mechanics, and pain management.
Document patient progress and communicate updates to supervising PT.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to adjust treatment plans.
Qualifications
Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
Current state license/certification in the state of practice.
