Pediatric School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist - Kalkaska, Michigan
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in Kalkaska, MI, serving a K-12 school setting. This contract role starts ASAP and continues through June 12th, 2026. The position offers an opportunity to work with a broad range of students, from early intervention through high school, including potential home and preschool visits.
Responsibilities
Provide speech-language therapy to students across various age groups, from early intervention to high school.
Conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, and monitor progress.
Carry out therapy sessions in school settings, as well as home and preschool environments as needed.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student communication goals.
Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all regulatory and program requirements.
Qualifications
Valid Speech-Language Pathologist certification (CCC‑SLP preferred).
Experience in pediatric speech-language pathology and working with school-aged children.
Ability to deliver therapy in multiple settings, including teletherapy, healthcare, and educational environments.
Comfort with providing services through home visits and preschool settings.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with students, families, and school staff.
