Overview
The Division of Interventional Pulmonary at Norton Thoracic Institute (NTI) seeks an interventional pulmonologist to provide interventional pulmonary and advanced diagnostics services, primarily at Chandler Regional Medical Center (CRMC) and Mercy Gilbert Medical Center (MGMC), with occasional rotations to St. Joseph Hospital and Medical Center (SJHMC) and the Dignity Health Cancer Institute (DHCI). The role involves collaboration with thoracic surgery, lung cancer screening, and multidisciplinary thoracic tumor boards. Responsibilities
Inpatient consults, clinic duties, and procedures. Advance the Ion robotic bronchoscopy program; experience in robotic bronchoscopy is preferred. Supervision
The interventional pulmonologist will supervise nurse practitioners and rotating trainees. Educational and Research Policy
Participate in clinical education of medical students and residents from Creighton University Health Sciences Campus – Phoenix. Clinical and bench research is supported and desired. Appointment
Clinical assistant or associate professor with Creighton University School of Medicine. Job Requirements
MD or DO degree ABIM board certification in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine AABIP certification or eligible in Interventional Pulmonary Completed ACGME residency with current ABMS board certification Ability to obtain full and unrestricted hospital/surgical privileges at Dignity Health Arizona hospitals Must obtain Arizona state medical licensure prior to starting Where You’ll Work
