The Radiologic Technologist performs radiographic procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail. This individual conducts general radiographic, fluoroscopic, and portable procedures as assigned.
The Radiologic Technologist performs procedures that will require independent judgment--with ingenuity and initiative--to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiographic diagnosis. He/she assumes responsibility for designated areas or procedures as required.
The Radiologic Technologist provides appropriate age-specific patient care to the following patient populations: infant, child, adolescent, adult, geriatric.
Qualifications
Education: Graduate of an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology Experience: One year or more as a staff technologist Licensure/Certification: Current ARRT registry and Current BCLS certification Pay Range
