Shift Schedule Training hours: typically 7 am – 3 pm. For required 12‑hour shifts, the schedule is 4 pm – 3 am.
Pay Starting rate: $32.65 per hour + $2 shift‑premium.

Role Overview The Maintenance Mechanic position is responsible for effectively troubleshooting, resolving, and maintaining equipment that includes, but is not limited to, flexographic presses, extruder/laminators and slitters, as well as providing general plant maintenance.
Responsibilities
Conduct preventive maintenance inspections and service on machines.
Clean and maintain machines, parts, tools and supplies.
Lubricate moving parts to ensure performance.
Record and report damage or wear.
Order and install replacement parts.
Diagnose unexpected breakdowns and repair machines efficiently.
Prepare and document work performed.
Maintain shop areas, inventory and supplies.
Coordinate with managers for regular maintenance scheduling.
Collaborate with production manager or plant engineer on new product introductions and required modifications.
Implement test runs, review results, and adjust machinery as necessary.
Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications
6 months to 1 year of experience in a maintenance or technical manufacturing role.
Good computer skills.
Team‑based work environment with a focus on safety, quality and productivity.

Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs frequently.
Daily standing, walking, squatting and climbing required.
Experience in a production environment with extensive stationary machine maintenance.
Use of personal protective equipment at all times.
Quantify results, identify opportunities, adapt to change and interact with all management levels.
Physical Requirements
Stand and walk for extended periods.
Exposed to moderate noise levels and potential hazardous materials.
Lift up to 55 lbs while adhering to PPE and GMP requirements.
