We are seeking an

Electronics Technician 2

to join our

Security and Electronic Systems (SES)

business unit. As part of the

SES

Strategic Business Unit, you will be involved in designing, engineering, integrating, operating, and maintaining electronic security services, including intrusion detection, access control, biometric authentication, video surveillance, audiovisual systems, IT systems, perimeter defense, and command and control systems for federal, local, and commercial clients across high-growth markets. Responsibilities

You will be responsible for: Installing and maintaining electronic security systems. Performing preventive maintenance. Conducting inspections, evaluations, and inventory management. Leading small to moderately complex service project teams. Conducting daily toolbox talks and documenting them. Installing head end equipment locally and globally according to design packages. Programming head end equipment for access control, intrusion detection, and CCTV systems. Troubleshooting systems and hardware at local and global levels. Providing on-site software commissioning and testing, along with inspections, evaluations, and inventory management. Qualifications

Security Clearance/Citizen Requirements:

Applicants will undergo a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements, including U.S. Citizenship, for access to classified information.

ACTIVE TS/SCI w/ POLYGRAPH clearance is REQUIRED . Education and Experience: HS diploma or GED, Military Electronics Training (minimum 720 hours), or Graduation from an accredited Electronics Technician or Electrical Apprenticeship program, plus At least three (3) years of electronics installation and/or maintenance experience. Requires a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record. The role may involve ongoing or intermittent use of a company vehicle. Progressive Experience: Over 4 years of electronics installation and maintenance across multiple systems and customer programs. At least 3 years of this experience focused on electronic security systems. Strong communication skills (oral, written, presentation). Experience working with multidisciplinary teams. Effective time management and organizational skills. Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is a plus. Desired Certifications and Skills: Vendor certifications in IDS, ACS, CCTV systems (e.g., CCURE, Lenel, Bosch, etc.) and experience in their installation. What We Offer

The ability to lift, carry, and move objects up to 50 pounds regularly, following proper safety protocols. Ability to relocate a 12-foot stepladder independently. Work at heights up to 60 feet, including climbing and balancing on scaffolds, lifts, and ladders. Routine physical activities such as walking, climbing, lifting, and reaching. Good vision (corrected if necessary), color vision, hearing, and communication skills in English. Recognition of problems or potential issues without necessarily solving them. Applying general rules to specific problems and drawing conclusions from diverse information. Close-range visual acuity and attentive listening skills.
