Transdev in Thornton, CO is seeking a Diesel Mechanic to diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel engines across various vehicles and equipment. This role supports safety, efficiency, and longevity of our vehicles. The shift schedule is Monday - Thursday, 1:00pm - 11:30pm. Application Deadline: 10/31/2025 Benefits

As a Diesel Mechanic with Transdev, you will help maintain and repair to ensure vehicle readiness and safety. Other major duties include: Perform preventative maintenance (PMs), safety inspections, and annual maintenance inspections. Diagnose and perform all phases of vehicle and equipment repair including brakes, suspensions, engines, drivetrains, transmissions, and other repairs. Ensure work orders are completed accurately. Assist with road calls and emergency services as necessary. Qualifications

Valid driver’s license required. At least 3 years of automotive or diesel maintenance and repair employment experience or a combination of technical school education and experience. Possess a mechanic’s tool set. Ase certifications preferred. Must be willing to participate in company ASE certification program (company training, testing, and bonuses provided). Subject to DOT drug testing. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including marijuana, for any reason. Physical Requirements

The essential functions of this position require the ability to work outside in varying temperature, weather, and humidity conditions; 100% of the job is performed outside, work alone and in remote locations. Sit for extended periods (up to 6–8 hours per day); frequently walk for long distances and on possible sloped ground or slippery and uneven surfaces. Push and pull objects; lift material weighing up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance; occasionally bend, kneel, or crouch to access equipment stored at ground level. Withstand heavy traffic areas while performing duties; tolerate exposure to dust, vehicle fumes, and noise.
