Senior Data Center Construction Manager - Relocate Anywhere in US Join Oracle Cloud Infrastructure as a Senior Data Center Construction Manager, overseeing base building and MEP infrastructure for data center projects on a national scale.

Job Description The Data Center Infrastructure Construction team at Oracle Cloud Infrastructure is dedicated to delivering state‑of‑the‑art data center facilities at scale and at pace. This team comprises experienced project managers, commissioning experts, and construction specialists who work collaboratively to ensure the successful execution of complex data center construction projects.

Key focus: base building and MEP infrastructure, project oversight, schedule management, risk evaluation, tenant fit‑out integration, quality assurance, design coordination, stakeholder communication, and compliance.

Relocation Requirement Candidates must be willing to relocate to WI, TX, NM, or other U.S. locations. Please indicate in the resume if you are open to relocation to other U.S. locations.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage the construction of data centers by colocation providers, ensuring all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, coordinating with colocation providers to ensure timely delivery of milestones.

Analyze projects independently to evaluate risk profiles associated with timely delivery, address gaps in risk identification and mitigation, and inform the business of potential impacts.

Work closely throughout design, construction, and commissioning to fully coordinate and integrate the separate scope of tenant fit‑out projects with the base building projects.

Implement and oversee quality control processes to ensure all construction activities meet design specifications and industry standards.

Collaborate with design teams to ensure construction activities align with approved design plans and specifications.

Serve as the primary point of contact between Oracle and colocation providers, facilitating clear and effective communication.

Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.

Ensure construction activities comply with relevant regulations, codes, and standards.

Provide ongoing colocation provider evaluation input for continuous improvement.

Conduct regular project visits to ensure schedule, coordination, and quality throughout the life of the project.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Heavy knowledge of base building data center construction: civil, structural, architectural, mechanical, electrical, controls, and plumbing.

Project management experience for startup and commissioning phases of major data center projects.

Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities to address complex challenges in a fast‑paced construction environment.

Expertise in developing and implementing long‑term strategies and program‑level requirements for construction projects.

Deep understanding of data center design, construction, and operational requirements with a focus on cutting‑edge technologies and sustainability.

Proficient in managing large‑scale data center construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely and within‑budget delivery.

Demonstrated leadership to lead under pressure, mentor, and inspire a diverse team of project managers, engineers, and construction professionals.

Budget management and vendor management skills, including contract negotiation and supplier relations.

Risk management and regulatory compliance expertise.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder engagement and project updates.

Salaries & Benefits US: Hiring Range in USD from $120,100 – $251,600 per year, with potential bonus, equity, and deferred compensation.
