We’re looking for a Field Services Technician I to support our lottery operations by servicing equipment at retail partner locations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, problem-solving, and being part of a mission-driven organization that brings excitement and opportunity to communities.

What You’ll do
Travel within your assigned zone to install, maintain, or repair lottery equipment and communication devices
Deliver supplies and marketing materials to retail locations
Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues in the field, including cleaning, swapping, or minor adjustments
Provide basic training to new or existing retailers on equipment use
Communicate clearly with dispatchers and document service activities accurately
Maintain organized inventory of tools, parts, and consumables
Follow Brightstar’s vehicle policy and attend driver safety training
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
2+ years of experience in electronics, field service, or a related industry
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, drive for extended periods, and work in various environments
Preferred
Technical or IT-related education or training
Familiarity with electronics and data communications
Comfort working at heights, in tight spaces, or in varying weather conditions
Strong manual dexterity and safety awareness when working with tools and electrical components

At Brightstar, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range for this role is $17.45- $23.27 per hour. The actual pay offered may be higher or lower. The Company complies with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.
Base pay is one part of our Total Rewards program. Non‑exempt roles are eligible for irregular discretionary bonuses. In addition, we offer employees a 401(k) Savings Plan with Company contributions, health, dental, and vision insurance, life, accident, and disability insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, wellness programs, and identity theft insurance. Note: programs are subject to eligibility requirements.
All Brightstar employees have a role in information security. Annual training will be assigned and required as appropriate.
