Position Details As a Caulker for RAM Construction Services, you will assist in the revitalization and construction of our surrounding areas. A Caulker will perform a variety of tasks that aid in both the completion and success of a project and assistance of team members.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Perform joint sealants and caulking, firestopping penetrations and joint systems, needle glazing and structural caulking, and architectural and traffic expansion joints.
Lifting objects or materials weighing 60+ pounds.
Assisting other skilled trade workers (caulking, waterproofing, etc.) in their performance.
Using hand tools and small power tools.
Performing other relevant duties as assigned.
Education, Experience & Qualifications Required
High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience specifically with caulk removal, joint sealants, parking decks, silicones, and urethanes.
Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
Own the required tools: caulk guns, tube and sausage gun, tooling knives, safety harness, and caulk cutting knife.
Travel Some travel is required. The employee must be willing to travel to surrounding job sites. RAM will compensate a per diem for travel and overnight stay if applicable.
Technology Some technology use may be required. If so, the employee will be properly trained on how to use software, equipment, etc.
Work Environment The employee will be subject to various work environments: seasonal temperatures, high spaces, small spaces, loud and frequent noises, standing/walking for up to 12 hours a day, indoor/outdoor settings, and areas close to traffic.
Following Instructions Adhere to instructions from superintendents, project managers, and construction plans and blueprints.
Cleanliness Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard‑free work area.
Safety Compliance Follow all RAM health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe work environment.
