Welcome to the Audi F1 Project. Audi will be competing in the FIA Formula 1 World Championship from 2026. The new team has three locations. The Sauber Group's Formula 1 factory in Hinwil (Switzerland) is known for its innovative technologies and passion for racing. Audi's Motorsport Competence Center in Neuburg (Germany) is considered one of the most modern of its kind in Europe. We have recently opened Sauber Motorsport Technology Center in the UK. Our Power Unit comes from Neuburg, while Hinwil is responsible for the development of the chassis and race operations with support from the UK. What you need? The mindset of an athlete. Become part of this unique project and make motorsport history. This position for the Audi F1 Project is at Sauber in Hinwil (Switzerland).

Your mission

Inspection and measurement of mechanical components for the F1 car and the wind tunnel model

Identification of parts that do not conform to technical drawings

Preparation, documentation, and creation of inspection reports

Logging and processing of error reports in the quality management system

Cross-departmental collaboration to efficiently develop and implement solution proposals

Point of contact and support for various departments regarding measurement and technical drawing-related questions

Your profile

Successfully completed basic mechanical training with additional qualification in quality assurance

AUKOM Level 1 & 2 desirable or equivalent qualification

Very good knowledge of 3D measurement and experience with Zeiss Calypso software

Experience in 3D measurement using Zeiss coordinate measuring machines (CMM)

Experience with manual measuring tools and gauges

Excellent ability to read technical drawings – ISO GPS 8015

Structured, precise, and independent working style

High resilience and flexibility, as well as willingness to work in a 2-shift system

Fluent in German or English, with a willingness to learn basic skills in the other language is required

SAP knowledge is an advantage
