Associate Support Engineering Data Specialist (Technical Data Design)

to support our F/A-18 Program in Fort Walton Beach, FL. Responsibilities

Develops, analyzes, collects, and stores various system support technical data elements and specifications to evaluate and make recommendations. Establishes operation maintenance tasks, resources, and support systems to achieve supportability requirements for multiple equipment subsystems. Researches, develops and revises technical publications, documentation, and related data. Analyzes customer requirements to understand scope and required elements. Reviews technical support publications for technical accuracy, grammatical errors, format and style per guidelines. Analyze complex engineering designs and design changes to determine maintenance/repair requirements, procedures and instructions. Collect, research and evaluate source data to develop hydro-mechanical component and system technical publications according to specifications. Develop multiple publication elements for all levels of maintenance for fielded equipment minor systems or sub systems. Collaborate with program management, engineering and other hydro-mech authors to accomplish tasks. Participate in or lead in-person and virtual working group meetings. Basic Qualifications (Required)

2+ years’ experience with Bachelor’s Degree, or 4+ years with Associate’s Degree, or 10+ years with High School Degree and experience with aircraft maintenance, plus: Hydro-Mech systems background experience. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and documentation. On-site work 5 days per week. Must be able to obtain a U.S. DOD Secret Security Clearance and special program access (US Citizenship required). Preferred Qualifications

Associates degree or higher, or 5 years related work experience. 4+ years’ experience with Hydro-Mech systems. F-18 Platform experience. Typical Education & Experience

Experienced-Level: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g., Associates) and typically 5 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience. Relocation

Experienced-Level Summary Pay Range: $54,000 - $95,000. Applications accepted until Oct. 14, 2025. Export Control requirements apply; U.S. Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required. U.S. Citizenship required for security clearance; U.S. Security Clearance may be required post-start. Visa sponsorship not available. This position is 1st shift.
