Professional level sales position capable of supporting advanced functions on the commercial side of the business. The role is responsible for profitable growth of the commercial business through customer retention and expansion, partners with the GM to manage Team Members, and requires expert knowledge of automotive systems and parts. The position sources parts from multiple suppliers, directs drivers for timely delivery, and is a full‑time role.
Primary Responsibilities
Maintain commercial customer relationships
Deliver GAS2 selling experience to commercial customers
Achieve personal/store sales goals and service objectives
Provide day‑to‑day supervisory support for Team Members
Collaborate with GM on coaching and developmental needs for Team Members
Dispatch drivers ensuring delivery standards are achieved
Maintain commercial stocking programs
Build and maintain a network of second‑source suppliers
Secondary Responsibilities
Maintain core bank and commercial returns
Maintain commercial credit accounts
Partner with GM to ensure proper driver coverage

Essential Job Skills
Working knowledge of automotive systems, including internal engine, suspension, brakes, electronics, and exhaust
Speak and write English (Spanish a plus); communicate effectively with customers, peers, and management
Read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, parts catalogs, and procedure manuals; write simple correspondence
Execute written, oral, or diagram instructions accurately
Successfully complete the Parts Knowledge Assessment
Use basic math accurately: add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure
Use Microsoft software effectively (Word, Excel required)
Strong organizational skills
Understand commercial profitability concepts and pricing strategies
Work assortment of days, evenings, and weekends as needed
Prior Experience That Sets a Commercial Parts Pro up for Success A minimum of 3 years of prior automotive parts experience preferred.
Proven sales ability with past experience in fulfillment of customer transactions.
Formal or informal experience leading teams, supervising daily tasks, and working together to achieve goals.
Education High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations ASE Certification Preferred, but not required.
Physical Demands Predominantly walking or standing, handling or feeling parts, reaching with hands and arms, climbing or balancing; stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. Frequently lift/move up to 50 pounds, occasionally up to 100 pounds. Requires close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment Mostly indoor work with occasional outdoor exposure to various weather conditions. Exposure to moving mechanical parts, high or precarious places, chemicals, electrical shock, and vibration. Noise level is usually moderate.
Compensation Range $19.95 USD PER HOUR – $21.95 USD PER HOUR.
