Overview
EAM‑Mosca Corp., Hazle Township PA, is seeking a Field Service Technician for the Phoenix, AZ region. EAM‑Mosca is privately held with a focused, entrepreneurial culture and serves a blue‑chip client base in North and South American manufacturing. The company offers standard and custom engineered packaging machinery solutions and a broad consumable packaging product with quality technical service and aftersales parts support. The Field Service Technician provides on‑site and remote support for a suite of strapping solutions, both standalone and automated machines integrated into customer conveyance systems.
Responsibilities
Install and commission equipment to ensure reliability and high customer satisfaction
Perform preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance, and emergency repair on all EAM equipment
Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems using systematic thinking and test equipment to identify faults and develop solutions
Collaborate with Mosca Engineering to deliver the highest level of customer service
Generate service reports that document work performed, parts used, issues, solutions, and follow‑ups
Communicate daily with area service managers and develop schedules and travel itineraries to meet customer needs
Work with a sense of urgency while remaining calm under pressure to ensure outstanding customer service
Skills Required
Advanced understanding of machines and systems including pneumatic, hydraulic, bearings, levers, channels, pulleys, cams, and camshafts
Basic experience with control systems using Allen Bradley, Siemens, and B&R PLCs
Electromechanical experience with conveyance systems; understanding sensors and electric motors
Ability to use a multimeter, perform point‑to‑point measurements, read electrical schematics, and trace circuits
Ability to read calipers and micrometers
Self‑starter who can work independently
Clear and professional written and verbal communication (web reporting, video conferencing, in‑person)
Ability to travel extensively within the U.S. (80% travel, Monday–Friday)

In‑house training with continuous on‑the‑job field training with senior staff

Experience and Education
Minimum 3 years of field or plant equipment maintenance experience
Corrugated industry experience is a plus
Mechanical understanding of strapping machines; Mosca experience preferred
High school diploma
A valid driver’s license
Solid mechanical/electrical background
PLC experience preferred
Associates degree a plus
