Teacher’s Salary Schedule
Plus 5% Special Education Supplement

Position Summary:
The Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) provides direct support to licensed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) in the screening, treatment and documentation of speech and language disorders. The SLPA works under the supervision of a licensed SLP, assisting in delivery of speech therapy services to individuals of varying ages who may have speech, language, and communication disorders. The SLPA plays a crucial role in implementing therapy plans, providing individualized interventions, and supporting the overall goals of the therapy team.
Education
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders (CDIS)
Experience
Previous experience working as an SLPA or SLPA extern to SLPA path
Specialized Knowledge, Licenses, Etc.
Possess or ability to obtain and maintain an Oklahoma Teacher Certification in Speech Language Pathologist Assistant Possess or ability to obtain and maintain an ASHA certificate and OBESPA Licensure
