Provides mental health rehabilitation and supports children, adults and families to decrease hospitalization and crisis episodes while increasing community functioning. The role requires delivering mental health services in an ethical, legal and therapeutic environment, consistent with regulatory and accreditation standards. The therapist facilitates recovery issues in daily living for clients and families. Qualifications

Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling & Guidance, Rehabilitation Counseling, Vocational Counseling, Pastoral Counseling, Family Therapy, or a related field. Must qualify as QMHP per Illinois Department of Mental Health Rule 132; LPHA preferred. Illinois Certified Addiction Counselor (CADC) or superseding licensure. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Computer proficiency and ability to navigate electronic health records. Ability to complete documentation within prescribed time frames. Skill in conducting individual, family and group counseling. Ability to present and coordinate lectures for clients, parents, staff or community resources. Self‑starter who can work independently and within a team. Valid driver’s license and own transportation. Belief in Rosecrance’s mission and vision. Responsibilities

Adhere to prescribed work hours and additional hours as needed. Motivate and problem‑solve with staff regarding effective clinical practices. Seek performance improvement while meeting complex client and family needs. Adapt verbal and written communication to client and family language and style. Complete documentation within appropriate timelines. Undertake primary case management for assigned clients. Conduct individual, group, and family counseling and education sessions. Maintain client service records per regulations. Coordinate services from community resources. Utilize evidence‑based practices and treatment modalities. Present workshops, lectures and training to clients, families, staff and community groups. Be familiar with court proceedings and attend court appearances on behalf of clients. Participate in on‑call rotation as required. Serve as a Clinical Team member and attend all meetings. Exercise confidentiality in line with professional ethics. Deliver exceptional customer service to every client. Schedule

Monday – Friday 12:30 pm – 9:00 pm Second Shift Work Location

Rosecrance Stephenson Office – Freeport, IL. On‑site work mode. Compensation

Starting pay: $57,761.60 per year (based on master’s level education and licensure). Additional pay enhancements apply: Professional Certification (e.g., CADC, CRSS, CPS): +$0.72 per hour (+$1,500 annualized) 1st Level Clinical Licensure (e.g., LPC/LSW/LMSW): +$0.87 per hour (+$1,800 annualized) 2nd Level Clinical Licensure (e.g., LCPC/LCSW/LMHC): +$2.16 per hour (+$4,500 annualized) Benefits
