The team provides patient care and supportive services aimed at positive outcomes, patient involvement, and reducing hospitalization length. The staff nurse plays a critical role in staff engagement, patient experience, quality, safety, and cost-effective care. Position Summary:
The Staff Nurse manages and provides care to patients and their families, directing and supervising nursing care provided by other team members. The nurse assesses, plans, implements, coordinates, delegates, and evaluates nursing care in alignment with the professional practice model. Minimum Education Required
2-Year College Degree or equivalent with a Major in nursing Additional Education Desired
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent with a Major in nursing Required Qualifications
Degree in Nursing from an accredited program (CCNE or ACEN). Current Ohio license or interim permit. Experience in relevant care setting preferred. Additional Information
9 West Rhodes is a 31-bed unit specializing in Benign Hematology and housing our medicine teaching services. Nurses work with physicians, residents, and students in a team-centered environment. The unit provides additional education for care of Benign Hematology patients. We welcome you to join our passionate team. Location:
