Part Time Pediatric Physical Therapist
Location: North Aurora, IL
Compensation: $35.00-45.00 per hour
RUSH Kids Pediatric Therapy is seeking a Part‑time Pediatric Physical Therapist for our North Aurora, IL location.
We evaluate and treat a variety of pediatric patients with diagnoses ranging from developmental delay, cerebral palsy, genetic disorders, autism spectrum disorders, torticollis, and more.
You will play an integral role in collaborating with other professionals to help our pediatric patients reach their goals and learn new skills. Come join us and make a positive difference in the life of a child!

Our PTs have opportunities to participate in internal and external continuing education and collaborate with colleagues across our 12 centers in the Chicagoland area, as well as opportunity to join our Pediatric Bowel & Bladder team and gain specialty skills in this area if interested.

Responsibilities
Understand appropriate state practice acts and adhere to laws governing physical therapists.
Complete and maintain all corporate & clinical services required training and maintain compliance with state/local/federal regulations.
Evaluate, treat, and direct treatment for patients for whom physical therapy is medically necessary and document this need clearly.
Maintain open and respectful communication with co‑workers, physicians, patients, family members, and third‑party payors at all times.
Attend and/or participate in facility meetings as directed by the center manager.
Qualifications
Graduate of an APTA accredited school of physical therapy.
Valid State Physical Therapy License/Registration REQUIRED to start.
Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification required.
Experience or willingness to develop specialty skills in Pediatric Bowel & Bladder team (optional).
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift patients using appropriate biomechanical techniques; must be able to lift fifty (50) pounds dead weight alone.
Ability to walk, bend, stand, and reach constantly during a work day/shift.
Visual acuity (near and distant) sufficient to evaluate, diagnose and monitor patient needs and to maintain accurate records, recognize people and provide directions.
Ability to speak and hear sufficiently to understand and give directions.
Ability to push wheeled equipment through the facility and in the community.
Fine motor skills for legible and accurate reporting, charting, scheduling, daily correspondence and presentations, manually or electronically.
Fine motor skills for effective and efficient handling of diagnostic or therapeutic equipment.
