Position Description Candidates selected will be given the responsibility of continuing our long‑standing commitment to academic excellence. This will be achieved through designing and delivering CNA skill instruction that ensures success of a diverse population of learners. In addition, the role includes building positive relationships and collaborating with students, parents, and staff to foster a positive experience for the entire learning community. As a Licensed School Nurse, the position also provides health services to all students with or without disabilities, supervises health paraprofessionals, develops individual health plans, manages student health information, and communicates and collaborates effectively. Experience working with children and students is preferred.
Responsibilities
Design and deliver CNA skill instruction that supports diverse learners.
Build positive relationships and collaborate with students, parents, and staff.
Provide health services to all students, with or without disabilities.
Supervise health paraprofessionals.
Develop individual health plans and manage student health information.
Communicate and collaborate effectively with the school community.
Maintain classroom management skills to sustain a positive learning environment.
Qualifications
Must have a valid MN LSN License (required).
Ideal candidates should have experience with multiple instructional designs and differentiated strategies that support diverse learners.
Must have strong classroom management skills.
Must be able to build positive working relationships with students, parents, and staff.
Must be proficient with current technology used to support communication, academics, and student progress monitoring.
Preferred: interested in serving as a school nurse and CNA skills instructor.
