Planned Parenthood of Northern New England is recruiting a float Advanced Practice Clinician (NP/CNM/PA) to deliver high‑quality, patient‑centered sexual and reproductive healthcare. This role supports our mission to provide, promote, and protect access to reproductive health care and sexuality education for all people.

Full time, 30 hours per week, hourly (non‑exempt) UNION MEMBERSHIP:
Represented by AFT in VT
POSITION PURPOSE:
Advanced Practice Clinicians provide quality, patient‑centered, personalized sexual & reproductive healthcare to patients of all genders. PPNNE is the largest reproductive health care and sexuality education provider and advocate in northern New England with health centers across Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont. PPNNE’s mission is to provide, promote, and protect access to reproductive health care and sexuality education so that all people can make voluntary choices about their reproductive and sexual health.
YOUR DAY‑TO‑DAY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provides exceptional patient‑centered care in a manner that complies with current efficiency and productivity standards.
Accurately codes medical services to support organization revenue cycle.
Delivers culturally and linguistically appropriate care to diverse patient populations.
Conducts comprehensive medical history interviews.
Performs reproductive system exams, including standard initial and annual exams and screening procedures.
Assesses patient health status and prescribes appropriate contraceptive methods and GYN treatments per PPNNE protocols.
Dispenses medications from health center formulary in accordance with protocols.
Provides abortion counseling and follow‑up care.
Refers patients to physicians and other health or social services as appropriate, following medical referral protocol.
Counsels and educates patients regarding general reproductive health care, birth control, emergency contraception, pregnancy options, adoption, parenting, and related health, emotional and social issues.
Adheres to all reporting requirements and state laws relevant to the abuse of minors.
Utilizes EHR system to ensure accurate documentation, billing, and optimal patient and population‑based outcomes.

COMPENSATION:
Pay range depends on years of relevant work experience: 0‑5 years $45.46‑$50.20 per hour; 6‑10 years $50.21‑$60.00 per hour; 11‑15 years $60.01‑$70.00 per hour; 17+ years up to $72.00 per hour.
