Conducting initial assessments Developing and implementing therapeutic plans Holding weekly individual and group therapy sessions Coordinating reunification plans Facilitating transfers Attending trainings, meetings, and supervision sessions Preparing reports and required documentation We invest in you
Individual development support from our clinical supervisor, a seasoned therapist experienced in various modalities and environments. Opportunity to accumulate hours toward licensure requirements. Opportunity for hands-on learning of proven evidence-based practices, such as Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TFCBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and others. What will make you successful Master’s degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or related field from an accredited college. Must be license eligible. Bilingual English and Spanish required. Prior experience working with children and families from diverse cultures with sensitivity to cultural differences and norms (strongly preferred). Computer skills sufficient to perform essential functions including knowledge of Microsoft Office suite. Must be 21 years old with a valid driver’s license and at least 3 years driving experience to operate a vehicle on behalf of Bethany. Must also pass a Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check and maintain a reliable vehicle with proof of adequate insurance coverage. Pass a criminal history screen, including state and local child protection agency registries. Documentation of immunity to vaccine preventable diseases or willingness to receive vaccination or seek an exemption. Subscribe to and integrate the agency statement of faith and mission statement.
