Speech Language Pathologist, Home Health (Full Time) Join to apply for the Speech Language Pathologist, Home Health (Full Time) role at Benefis Health System. Responsibilities
Evaluates, plans and administers comprehensive speech therapy modalities/regimens as prescribed by a physician to patients with speech, voice, and language, cognitive-communicative and oral-pharyngeal swallowing disorders in their place of residence for the purpose of improving and/or restoring speech and/or swallowing functions. Demonstrates the ability to deal with pressure to meet deadlines, to be accurate, and to handle constantly changing situations. Demonstrates the ability to deal with a variety of people, deal with stressful situations, and handle conflict. Will perform all job duties or job tasks as assigned. Will follow and adhere to all requirements, regulations and procedures of any licensing board or agency. Must comply with Benefis Health System's organization policies and procedures. Education/License/Experience Requirements
Current valid state Speech Therapy license required Master's/Bachelor's Level Graduate in the area of Speech Therapy or Speech Pathology from an accredited university or college required Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology awarded by the American Speech Language and Hearing Association required One year of work experience Prior home health experience preferred For Medicare Certified Agencies
Meets the education and experience requirements for a Certificate of Clinical Competence in speech pathology or audiology granted by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association; or Meets the education requirements for certification and is in the process of accumulating the supervised experience required for certification Seniority level
