We are seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician to join and help lead our team. As a Veterinary Technician, you will help oversee clinic operations and guide our team of Veterinary Technicians and Assistants in providing high-quality care to our animal patients.
Overview
Your responsibilities will include performing various medical procedures, administering medications, and assisting with surgeries. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in animal care and possess excellent technical skills. Duties
Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed by veterinarians Perform laboratory tests such as blood work, urinalysis, and fecal examinations Prepare animals for surgery and assist during surgical procedures Monitor anesthesia during surgeries and recovery periods Perform x-rays Provide compassionate care to animals and their owners Educate pet owners on proper animal care and nutrition Maintain accurate medical records Directing workflow on the floor Assist in the educational development of technicians and their skills Requirements
Previous experience as a Veterinary Technician is highly desirable Strong technical skills for common procedures Proficient in animal handling and restraint techniques Strong communication skills, both verbal and written Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Benefits
