On Call Radiology Tech – Baylor Scott & White Surgical Hospital Fort Worth Call shifts only – 13 week commitment. 4 required shifts/month with option to pick-up additional day‑shifts. $1,000 bonus upon completion of the 13 weeks. Can renew 13 week assignments consecutively. $5/hour standby. Time & ½ for hours called‑in. Paid for minimum 2 hours when called‑in.

Radiology Tech Operating Room Responsibilities

Perform quality diagnostic procedures accurately and in a timely manner.

Under minimal supervision, perform basic to complex OR diagnostic and interventional radiographic procedures as requested by licensed physician.

Provide technical support for interventional radiographic examinations.

Complete established competencies for the position.

Operate imaging equipment (C‑Arms, O‑Arms), prepare exam rooms, and maintain equipment, supplies, and medications.

Produce high‑quality diagnostic radiographs throughout patient care areas (OR, Urography, open reductions, myelography, arthrography, and placements).

Assist practitioner with fluoroscopy, arthrography, and OR procedures.

Practice proper radiation safety techniques on all exams performed.

Perform all QC checks as prescribed; maintain accurate QC logs, service records, etc.

Practice medical and surgical aseptic procedures.

Investigate promptly and follow up on unusual incidents; communicate with Manager/Director.

Takes department call as assigned.

Qualifications Education

High School diploma or equivalent.

Graduate of AMA‑approved school of Radiologic Technology.

Graduate of a 2‑year accredited school of Radiology Technology.

Licensure/Certification

Current & Active American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certificate.

Current & Active Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) General License.

Current BLS certification.

Required Experience

Minimum 2 years’ experience in surgical/diagnostic radiological exams.

Experience using C‑Arms in an operating room.

Independence in decision‑making.

Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects.

Excellent communication skills with staff, physicians, patients, and families.

Proficient in EHR for patient documentation.
