Overview
RISE Pediatric Therapies is a growing organization that provides support to families of children birth to three years of age with disabilities or special developmental needs, helping them to build on their child's strengths, and to enhance and promote the child's growth, development and learning skills in their natural environment. Position : Pediatric Physical Therapist (Independent Contractor) Responsibilities
Provide evaluations, assessments, and ongoing therapy for children birth to three years of age. Work as part of a comprehensive multidisciplinary core team to provide screenings, assessments, planning, and ongoing services in collaboration with the child’s family, medical providers and other community representatives. Participate in Core Team meetings, one-on-one family sessions, and Individual Family Service Plan meetings. Deliver services in the natural environment (typically home, daycare, park, etc.) and in the context of the family’s routines and activities, so information is meaningful and directly relevant to supporting the child. Maintain a flexible schedule and be willing to work evenings or weekends as needed; travel to attend meetings and provide services in and around the Phoenix and/or Scottsdale areas. Qualifications
Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy In-home and clinical pediatric physical therapy experience; pediatric experience preferred Completion of AzEIP standards of practice for Early Interventionists within three years of start date; knowledge of AzEIP Policies and Team Based Model Meet all professional requirements and rules of professional conduct; valid licensure Candidates must pass background clearance Notes
