Location: Dry Lake East Solar site. The position sits within the Power Generation Division, responsible for non-nuclear generation operations exceeding 40,000 MW of installed capacity. The employee will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of solar PV collection assemblies, battery energy storage, and AC/DC inverters on multiple solar power plants to achieve safe, efficient, and environmentally sound plant operations. Key responsibilities include maintaining tools, shops, vehicles, and work locations in a safe and efficient condition; inspecting watch, electrical, mechanical, and electronic trouble shooting for solar arrays and inverters; daily inspection for fluid system breaches, mechanical component issues, and electrical component failures that could prevent inverters from producing grid power; and supporting teammates in nearby states in the region to maintain reliability, operations, and maintenance for sites in the assigned area. The Site Technician supports the Regional Manager or designee to ensure the effective execution of PGD processes. Responsibilities include safety, contractor management, operation of electrical/electronic/mechanical equipment, troubleshooting and maintenance, overall site operations, asset management and regulatory compliance, reliability engineering, and inventory management. The estimated base pay for this position is $50,400.00 to $75,600.00 per year. Starting pay will be based on several factors including experience, qualifications, job-related and industry knowledge and skills and education/training.
