6:30 p.m. - 7:00 a.m., Fri-Sat-Sun Facility:
MVH Job Responsibilities
Perform diagnostic MRI procedures as ordered, ensuring quality and adherence to protocols. Gather clinical history and data for accurate correlation. Implement safety measures and perform quality control checks. Prepare and administer contrast media following policies, maintaining sterile techniques. Assist radiologists during procedures and emergencies. Coordinate patient care to optimize experience and satisfaction. Educate patients and families about procedures. Accurately document all records and reports, verify physician orders. Maintain emergency equipment knowledge and readiness. Qualifications
Associate degree in Allied Health or Medical Imaging Sciences, including MRI physics coursework or completed within 6 months of hire. CPR certification required. ARRT RT (R) registry or ARMIRT required; MRI registry preferred. ODH licensure preferred. Experience: No prior experience required; 1 year MRI experience preferred. Skills
Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and MRI safety guidelines. Proficiency in EMR, RIS, and image storage systems. Understanding of advanced MRI computer applications. Additional Information
