Speech‑Language Pathologist – K‑12 School Setting
This opportunity is for a Speech‑Language Pathologist (SLP) providing services in a K‑12 school setting in Waukegan, IL. The role is a contract position spanning the entire school year. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with students across the full K‑12 spectrum.
Key Qualifications
Valid Speech‑Language Pathology Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP‑CCC)
Experience in school‑based speech‑language therapy services
Ability to assess and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in children
Familiarity with Individualized Education Programs (IEP) and school compliance requirements
Responsibilities
Conduct speech and language evaluations for students K‑12
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with student needs and goals
Collaborate with educators, parents, and other support staff to foster student progress
Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports according to school policiesParticipate in team meetings and professional development opportunities
