Job Description Position Title Laboratory Technician

Work Location Onsite - Eagan, MN 55121

Assignment Duration 3 Months

Work Schedule Weekdays, 8-5.

Position Summary Conduct analytical testing support following established procedures and techniques, focusing primarily on traditional “wet” analytical tests including titrations (both manual and automated), specific gravity, pH, and viscosity. Key Responsibilities:

Conduct analytical testing support following established procedures and techniques, focusing primarily on traditional “wet” analytical tests including titrations (both manual and automated), specific gravity, pH, and viscosity.

Communicate results clearly to peers, customers, and project teams through email and entry into Data Reporting software (i.e., LIMS).

Qualification & Experience

General Laboratory Safety.

Ability to quickly learn operation of basic analytical laboratory equipment.

Ability to follow and execute written analytical test methods.

Bachelor’s in chemistry or related discipline / 0-3 years experience.

Experience with operating equipment to measure pH, specific gravity, viscosity.

Experience with titration (both manual and automatic).

Experience with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS).

Demonstrated analytical chemistry bench skills (weighing, sample transfer, pipetting, etc.).

Communication, Problem solving, teamwork, detail oriented, time management, and adaptability.

Experience with analytical lab equipment and techniques.

Daily interaction with team members, daily to weekly interaction with manager.

Method specific technique.

Additional methods added as needed/time allows.

Sample management.
