The Community You'll Be Caring For AdventHealth Tampa, a faith-based not‑for‑profit 626‑bed tertiary‑level acute care hospital located in the uptown district of Tampa, Florida. It specializes in advanced cardiovascular medicine, neuroscience and neurology, digestive health, orthopedics, women’s services, pediatrics, oncology, endocrinology, bariatrics, wound healing, sleep medicine, and general surgery including minimally invasive and robot‑assisted procedures. GME programs include general surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, internal medicine and transitional year.
AdventHealth Tampa is home to the renowned AdventHealth Pepin Heart Institute and the Kiran C. Patel Research Institute.
The Role You'll Contribute The Physical Therapist provides self‑directed, effective therapy to patients in accordance with the Florida Physical Therapy Association standards and pursuant to the Florida Department of Professional Regulation.

Responsibilities
Evaluation: Collection of comprehensive data pertinent to the patient’s health; performs consults as indicated.
Re‑Evaluation: Performs assessments due to changes in the patient’s medical condition that alter the PT treatment plan.
Reassessments: Evaluates progress toward attainment of expected outcomes.
Treatment Plan: Analyzes assessment data to determine course of treatment.
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
Current Florida Physical Therapy license.
Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
2 years of experience.
