Overview
Pharmacy Buyer performs duties associated with the purchasing, billing and maintenance of the pharmaceutical inventory and supplies necessary for the provision of pharmaceutical care. Coordinates inventory control activities including stocking, cycle counting, processing recalls, and monitoring all pharmaceuticals and pharmacy supplies. Promotes awareness of and compliance efforts for purchasing programs and regulatory requirements including GPO contract, 340B drug purchasing program and federal Drug Supply Chain Security Act (DSCSA) regulations. Work Status Details: REGULAR FULL TIME | 80.00 Hours Every Two Weeks Shift: Varied Pay Rate Type: Hourly Location: Yuma Medical Center Min = $20.57 Mid = $25.71 Max = $30.85 Listed is the base hiring salary range offered for this position. Actual salaries may vary depending on factors, including but not limited to skills and experience. The salary range listed is just one component of the total rewards/compensation package offered to candidates. Responsibilities
Suggesting and placing orders for 340B-qualified medications Receiving and verifying inbound shipments, facilitate proper shipping and receiving of medications Managing and tracking allocations across accounts Submitting DSCSA (Drug Supply Chain Security Act) transaction data Generating and submitting invoices (physical and electronic) per pharmacy requirements Coordinate pickups and deliveries, and place necessary orders for clinics Monitoring and documenting delivery status for compliance and reconciliation Assist in 340B end of month reporting and audits, as needed Other duties as assigned Credentials
