Job Summary Join our expanding Academic Primary Care faculty. This position will provide direct patient care in an outpatient setting with teaching opportunities. There are also opportunities to engage in population management and quality/safety activities. Prior training or clinical experience in an academic teaching environment is preferred.

Responsibilities The University of Michigan, Division of General Medicine in the Department of Internal Medicine is seeking board certified/eligible candidates for a faculty position to join our dynamic and well-established division. The successful candidate will be expected to participate in patient care and teaching in our expanding Academic Primary Care Group. Duties include providing direct patient care in an outpatient setting with teaching opportunities. Excellent benefits and compensation package with guaranteed salary plus incentive bonuses. Relocation support provided.

Required Qualifications Applicant must hold an MD or DO degree and postgraduate clinical training. They should hold or have the ability to obtain the appropriate medical license in the State of Michigan as well as be board certified or board eligible. Candidates should be able to collaborate effectively with other clinicians. Good oral and written communication skills are essential. Evidence of clinical competence and didactic teaching is expected. Prior training or clinical experience at a major academic medical center is preferred.
