Master’s degree in Social Work or Counseling from an accredited institution Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) from Michigan Meet qualifications of Child Mental Health Professional (CMHP) and/or Mental Health Professional (MHP) under Michigan Medicaid standards Valid Michigan driver’s license with auto insurance Job Duties:
Assess and coordinate care for adults with mental illness and children with emotional disturbances and their families during crises Serve as outpatient clinician for crisis stabilization team Conduct assessments, develop diagnoses, and create treatment plans with clients and families Maintain electronic records of services, progress notes, and treatment plans Participate in supervision and team meetings to review progress and strategize Ensure compliance with clinical documentation and service requirements Provide crisis intervention and stabilization services Review and approve requests for services and authorize necessary treatments Apply trauma-informed care principles and support individuals with trauma-related issues Easterseals MORC has been recognized as one of Detroit and West Michigan’s 101 Best & Brightest Companies to Work For!
