Overview

Behavioral Health Associate (11p to 7:30a) — full-time role at Acadia Healthcare. The position provides direct patient care to geriatrics, adults, and adolescents with psychiatric disorders, including dual-diagnosis patients, to ensure patient well-being and safety. Responsibilities

Maintain well-being of patients and provide a positive, supportive, and structured environment. Conduct safety checks and ensure supervision is conducted at 15-minute intervals or as required by individualized guidelines. Document timely, accurate, and appropriate clinical information in the patient’s medical record. Assist in providing a safe, secure, and comfortable environment for patients, families/significant others, and staff. Interact with patients, observe behaviors, and communicate significant observations to nursing staff. Assist patients with activities of daily living (toileting, bathing, dressing, grooming, oral hygiene, meals, hydration, changing bed linens). May obtain vital signs, height, and weight and document in the patient record. Facilitate patient educational and rehabilitative groups covering topics such as social skills, coping skills, anger management, and independent living skills. Engage patients in activities designed to achieve treatment goals. Complete and maintain required documentation; assist with follow-up and paperwork on incidents and events as needed. Qualifications
