Diesel Mechanic | Up to $70,000 Annual Salary | Quarterly Bonus Sign-on Bonus up to $5,000 Job Description
Replace brake shoes/pads, replace leaking wheel seals, suspensions. Inspect, test, and listen to defective equipment to diagnose malfunctions. Use hand tools, such as screwdrivers, pliers, wrenches, pressure gauges, or precision instruments, as well as power tools, such as pneumatic wrenches, lathes, welding equipment, or jacks and hoists. Must be able to look up issues on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports and accurately correct issues to DOT standards. Knowledge of air brake systems. Rewire lighting systems. Diagnose and repair faulty ABS systems. Perform Annual DOT inspections. Work on rolling tarping systems. Including replaced tarp panels. Benefits
